Gordon McCauley
AUCKLAND
Born in Balclutha, New Zealand in 1972, Gordy grew up in Otago in New Zealands South Island and started cycling as a 14 year old after watching New Zealand cycling legend Brian Fowler take a silver medal in the 1986 Commonwealth Games road race.
His first race as a schoolboy was far from the winning form that we see today. The event was a 16km team time trial, and Gordy was dropped near the beginning and finished a long way behind his teammates.
Despite his less than glamorous start to racing, Gordon trained and developed into one of New Zealand’s own cycling legendsThroughout his illustrious career Gordon has won the men's New Zealand road race championships a record five times, plus the New Zealand Time Trial championships a record three times. He also has the honour of being the first ever New Zealander to break the 50 minute barrier for the 40km Time Trial with a time of 49 mins, 50 sec recorded at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
He is also the only rider ever to hold New Zealand National Road, Time Trial and Criterium Titles (although on different years).
Gordy coach's new racing cyclists right through to world champions, specialising in road, Time Trial and gravel.

Josh Page
Hamilton
Josh started riding bikes at 15 years old after seeing his uncles brand new Cannondale Mountain bike and thought 'Man i want one of those!!!' That started a love affair with bikes and bike riding and racing that has spanned the last 23 years.
So far Josh has lost count of how many bikes he's had but its got to be over 100!! (see if you can get him to recount them all)
Josh loves racing!! and has raced, Mountain bikes, Downhill, Cross country, short course, Marathon, stages races, Road racing nationally and internationally, Cyclocross, Gravel, Half ironman, duathlon, Half marathons and has just in this last year started dabbling in track cycling as well. To say Josh has a lot of racing experience across disciplines is putting it mildly.
He now needs to balance this with his young family as a father of 2 boys under 3. (Weirdly the eldest also LOVES bikes)
Josh has a real interest in the physiology and scientific side of coaching and training which earned him a degree in Sports science. He blends this with his analytical and thoughtful approach to racing to help clients get the best out of their training no matter if they can do under 10h a week or 20+h. He loves topping up his knowledge by listening to pod casts and reading the latest training articles when he can.Career highlights
- Bachelors Degree Sport and Recreation
- Club nationals elite age group winner road race
- 2nd Nationals Masters 1 road race
- 2nd Taupo Napier
- Winner of numerous domestic races
